If your card is eligible for renewal, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number with RHB. Key in the OTP number and click on ‘SUBMIT’.

How do I know if my card is going to expire?

You may submit your renewal request if your Debit Card/-i expiry date is within 6 months in advance from the card expiry or within 12 months after the card has expired.

What do I need to do?

  1. Read the step-by-step guide provided on the Debit Card/-i Renewal page.
  2. Complete all details required.
  3. If the details are keyed in correctly and your renewal is successful, you will receive your new card within 15 working days (Malaysia) or 21 working days (for overseas address).

What are the criteria for me to apply for this renewal card?

  1. Your RHB Current and Savings Account/-i need to be active.
  2. Your Debit Card/-i must be valid with no block code. You should also have a valid mobile number registered with RHB.
  3. Your Debit Card/-i expiry date is within 6 months in advance from card expiry or within 12 months after the card has expired.

Will I get the same card number once I have renewed my Debit Card/-i?

Yes, except for Justice League Debit Card/-i.

Will my recurring payments (auto-debit) be affected by getting a new Debit Card/-i?

Please update your merchants with the latest Debit Card/-i number and expiry date to ensure your recurring payments are not affected.

Do I need to change my RHB Online Banking/RHB Mobile Banking password when I renew my Debit Card/-i?

No, you can still access your RHB Online Banking/RHB Mobile Banking as usual.

Once I renewed my Debit Card/-i, do I need to opt-in again to continue my online/overseas transactions?

No, you do not need to opt-in again.

Is there any fee charged to renew my Debit Card/-i?

No, there is no fee charged for renewal.
